Consulting Services and PACE Technical Assistance Center Since 1996, Community Care has provided consulting services to organizations, government agencies and other parties exploring facets of PACE and integrated managed long-term care development and administration. As one of the first PACE Technical Assistance Centers, Community Care was instrumental in the early development of PACE not only as a program sponsor and founding member of the National PACE Association but also as a provider of consulting services focusing on the analysis and implementation of PACE and other models of managed long-term care. Community Care Partners can help by providing free consultation to educate your organization about these critical issues in order to evaluate how to proceed in consideration of further model development. These include: Market and Demographic Analysis- Is there a demand for the managed long-term care service and, if so, how many individuals might be likely to participate in the program? State and Federal Policy Environment- Will there be sufficient policy support for the development of the managed long-term care program? Planning and Development ServicesDuring this phase, Community Care Partners actively assists in the development of organizational and operational tasks necessary to build an effective and efficient managed care organization. The goal is to assure the organization is capable of sponsoring and operating the managed long-term care model. This occurs through the ongoing interplay of continuous business planning, organizational development and regulatory/operational preparedness. During this phase, governance structures are established, administrative systems are developed and the program moves from concept and design into actual operations. Staff training and program oversight occurs through educational intensives at Community Care Partners’ locations and on-site at the organization. Program Operations and Ongoing SupportOnce the program becomes operational, Community Care Partners takes an active role in assisting in the oversight of the program’s clinical, administrative, operational and financial functions.
